A MAN who sold pirated DVDs at a car boot sale held at Posh's London Road car park was caught with pornographic videos in his bag. A 27 year old man of Eagle Way, Hampton, was selling a number of copied films, including Disney family favourites, when city trading standards officers approached his stall at the regular boot sale. The court heard that the man, who is on benefits, had been trying to make extra money, and had seen stallholders making large profits from the sale of fake DVDs at the sale.

Car boot sale LP fetches £4,000 The buyer paid just £2 for the signed album at a car boot sale A 1976 Rolling Stones album bought for £2 at a car boot sale has sold for £4,000 at an auction. The new owner, a Derbyshire man who did not want to be identified, beat off competition from a New York bidder to secure the Black and Blue LP. The record is believed to be signed by John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Paul and Linda McCartney and George Harrison as well as members of the Rolling Stones. The seller obtained the album after haggling the cost down from £3. Experts think the album was signed as part of a celebration to welcome Ronnie Wood, who replaced Mick Taylor in the Stones in 1976.
